The Barolo Tortoniano has been for over 50 years a “classic” Barolo, which has always been refined only in large barrels (50hl). It has hints which recall the Cerequio (mint, juniper) and which are well integrated with the classic spicy tones of traditional Barolo wines. The smooth tannins of the Tortonian area make it an excellent wine already after 4/5 years. Maturing: 2 years in large French oak barrels
