The Three Corner Jack is the name of a three-spiked prickle that latches on and rarely lets go once its claws are attached. Prolific in the likes of McLaren Vale and South Australian regions. In Mr. Riggs’ world, the three-corner jack represents a blend of our region’s three finest grapes; Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This wine combines the rich, dark berry fruit and spice of Shiraz, with the elegant fruit and firm structure of Cabernet, all wrapped up in a velvety blanket of soft, plummy fruit from the Merlot component.
