Hungerford Hill Lower Octave Shiraz is a lovely wine flaunting a dark, cherry red colour. The generous bouquet of this wine lifts with ripe fruit aromas including plum and rhubarb, and hints of tobacco. The palate has a richly-flavoured mouthfeel of dense fruit balanced with savoury French oak. The well-structured bed of fruit tannins dominates the finish. This Hunter Valley Shiraz exhibits aromas, flavours and textures inherited from the region. It partners well with a variety of foods such as poultry, chicken, or any red meat with sauce.
